Theory
Fundamentals of Piano Theory Level 9 – go through what sections interest you
Repertoire
Mozart Sonata in C K545 – 1st mvt
- let’s take 2 weeks off from this, then return back to it but treating it like it’s a brand new piece, going very slowly
2nd mvt:Mozart K545 mvt 2 & 3
- work slowly hands separately
Satie Gymnopedie No. 1 sheet music: Gymnopedie – annotated
- Take a short break and come back to focus on memorizing the other pages, but only do this once you’ve reworked the whole thing into your fingers
Bach Prelude in C BWV 846: JS Bach Prelude in C
- Try sitting farther away and changing fingering to avoid use of thumb when across the body, or to play with the thumb but let the pedal hold it for you
- let your upper arms hang from your side rather than hold it out
