Repertoire/Pieces
Sonatina in C by Kuhlau –
- continue 3-10-3 in small sections (1-2 measures at a time). Work one hand at a time first until you get the hang of it, then do 3-10-3 hands together
- count out loud to begin with
- be careful when you see finger numbers – that means you need to read the notes
Prelude in C Minor by Bach –
- learn in small sections (2 measures at a time) using 3-10-3: Play the section 3 times in a row, then wait 10 seconds, and play it another 3 times, then move on to the next section and do the same
- count out loud to start, but basically you have a note on every 16th note
