G Major Scale, chords, and arpeggios 2 octaves hands together slowly

  • Do 5-Part Lap Map, making up your own rhythms. You can look at the Longy rhythms and choose ones you see there to try
  • Then do 5-Part rhythm the “old” way

  • count out loud to begin with
  • be careful when you see finger numbers – that means you need to read the notes

Prelude in C Minor by Bach –

  • continue learning 2 measures at a time using 3-10-3: Play the section 3 times in a row, then wait 10 seconds, and play it another 3 times, then move on to the next section and do the same
  • hold LH quarter notes for full beat (the first 3 16th notes in RH)
  • write in the chord being outlined if you are struggling with the reading
