You can do some harmonic analysis with this Bach Chorale: ach bleib bei uns herr jesu christ
Repertoire
Bach Invention No. 1 in C major
- Continue work on ornaments hands together. Allow extra time to execute the ornament before letting the other hand move on to the next note. Also, you can focus just on the beat where ornament occurs, set metronome to the 16th note (very slow) and try to execute that beat in time
- m. 11-14 is the trickiest part, so you may want to focus on this section some days as well
- I think taking some time to write down the more difficult measures by hand would be effective – don’t be too exact about making it look pretty, it’s more to make sure you draw your attention to spots where you may have holes
Chopin Prelude Op 28 No 6 – here is the Paderewski version chopin op 28 no 6 paderewski
- continue hands separately
- try the fingering in this edition, but if it doesn’t work you can use what feels better in your hand
- work on harmonic analysis (what you can figure out)
