Repertoire

Mozart Sonata in C K545: use this sheet for reference Mozart K545

  • m. 4 the 16th notes after the trill are being played like a 16th and dotted 8th instead of even 16ths. Same in m. 45
  • m. 8-10 don’t break the legato in RH just because LH needs to lift to play its next note. Same thing in m. 46-55
  • m. 22-23 play this with metronome set to the 8th note so that you are timing the LH evenly, also m. 67-68. Try tapping LH with metronome and counting out loud, but play RH

Satie Gymnopedie No. 1 sheet music: Gymnopedie – annotated

  • Be sure you are in 3/4 time for m.1-4, 9-12, etc. – anytime you have LH playing and RH holding tied notes
  • Work on memorizing as much as you can – focus on the first and 3rd pages first
  • m. 37-38 and 76-77 double check your notes/octaves
  • use soft pedal throughout
