  • do 1 8va as quarter notes (up and down) then right onto 2 8vas in 8ths
  • remember to keep the wrist still and have an ergonomic angle to the arm
  • go on to G major when easy

  • Work on the long trills playing them softer. You can also help them by doing the trill exercise: A) Hold down the two notes of the trill, plus all adjacent keys with the rest of your fingers. B) Keep all fingers down as you take one of the trill notes, and lift and press over and over again. C) Hold down that trill notes, and repeat B) with the other trill note. D) Repeat this a few times, then stop for the day
  • be aware of holding up the fingers far above the keys when they’re not playing. Only hold them up as far as is necessary, and be sure to relax them whenever you can

  • Continue playing 1st and 3rd pages from memory, and try to memorize page 2.
  • You can then also play m. 61-71 from memory as it’s the same as page 2
  • If you have time, work on m. 72-end memorized. Compare to page 2 to see how they differ

  • work one measure at a time blocking the chord, then playing the written rhythm
  • if you want, you can try to work 2-4 measures together with blocking first then playing as written
