  • G major scale and arpeggios (two 8vas) – hands separately, then together. For scales, pause at each place where you cross under/over to make sure the correct hand goes first: rh on ascending, lh on descending
  • Ploger: 6-Part Lap Map improv and 6-part Longy Rhythm (separately)

  • Go through the whole piece mentally, thinking about what you’d like it to sound like musically. Then take those ideas to the piano and work phrase by phrase to get the sound you want

  • Take look at the recapitulation (starts pick up to m. 37) and look for similarities in thematic material you played in exposition
  • spend more time on the last 2 pages than the first page so they are all at the same level
  • write in finger numbers throughout
