• Do 5-Part Lap Map, making up your own rhythms. You can look at the Longy rhythms and choose ones you see there to try

• Then do 5-Part rhythm the “old” way
• stop if you make a mistake and figure out what the mistake was and which of the 3 causes of error it was

Play D Major Scale and Chords

• hands separately looking at the keys, put hands together when easy
• remember all F’s and C’s are sharped
• use the same fingering as C major scale

• write in counting and count out loud

Keep practicing Dance of Irish p. 30-32

• don’t count out loud, but try to keep the beat steady throughout

Learn I’ll Be Home for Christmas

• do 3-10-3 measure by measure, figure out each hand first for that measure
• count out loud

Carol of the Bells

• work on this with a metronome to make sure m. 17-20 stays up to speed with the rest

Jingle Bell Rock

• careful of the swinging rhythms in the LH whenever it starts with a rest, and also for m. 5 (try singing this and tapping the beat with LH, then try playing it and tapping the beat, then play both hands)
