Gb major scale (two 8va), chords, arpeggios (two 8va) – hands separately, then together. Don’t worry about RH being legato on arpeggio

  • Try memorizing using the Sacred Four steps. Work one page at a time like this, and then focus on sections or passages that aren’t quite memorized

  • Try recording this, focusing on keeping your musical thought going in spite of any mistakes that may happen. Apply the solutions to the causes of error as they happen
  • Don’t discard if you make a mistake, push through to complete

Bach Little Prelude in C p. 24

  • copy just notes and finger numbers and ties into Musescore – we will decide on dynamics and articulations later
  • learn hands separately

Sonatina in G major – Atwood

  • try to make LH quarter notes full value in m. 9 and following
  • m. 13-15 play LH legato, also try playing just quarters in both hands leaving out passing tones in RH
  • do 2 days w/metronome at speed that works for B section
