  • Try to keep going if you make a mistake – identify the cause of error, and apply the correct cure in time

  • Double check your notes, especially m. 15-22 when playing hands together
  • M. 34-35 press the soft pedal along with damper and hold down throughout

Fairy Tale

  • This is sounding a bit rushed, take some time to play it with speeding up/slowing down tempo within the phrase – even if it sounds bad. As you do this start to formulate some ideas of how you want this to sound. Think of the emotion that the composer may be trying to convey
  • Take time to work in the musical communication techniques like hands not together and rubato. You may make a lot of mistakes at first, but upon repeats it will get easier
