Repertoire
Mozart Rondo
- Play slowly once, then record at tempo. Focus not on getting a perfect recording, but paying attention to which cause of error is happening and applying the correct solution as you play
Fairy Tale
- work mostly on the B section in blocked chord LH alone at first so you can play those chords quickly. Then add RH as written while blocking LH chords, then play both hands at written
Gavotte
- work in long-short rhythms for the RH to uno the short-long rhythms
- also work in short bursts of speed in m.17-20: group by RH slurs as a burst, then pause, preparing for the next burst. Don’t go on until you know all the notes you have to play next (you can look at your hands while playing, then look up when pausing). Then regroup according to LH playing octaves (i.e., beats 1-2- pause – 3-4)
