  • think about the different hand positions that exist in each phrase, and play them with chunking them together as blocked “chords” – this will sound awful, but it will help to think outside of individual note reading. When easy, repeat the phrase as written
  • try playing through without stopping, but if you find yourself getting stuck too many times, stop and think about the next phrase: how you want it to sound, and then play it, pause and do the same for the next phrase, etc.

  • good work on this! Try to come up with different ways of playing the “breath marks” and fermatas to help it musically
