  • G major scale and arpeggios (two 8vas) – hands separately, then together. For scales, pause at each place where you cross under/over to make sure the correct hand goes first: rh on ascending, lh on descending
  • Ploger: 6-Part Lap Map improv and 6-part Longy Rhythm (separately)

  • Sight Reading 1B: finish up the extra exercises at the end

  • break this up into smaller sections and try not to play in order. You may even want to start on the 2nd to last page (probably the hardest part)
  • hands separately for now, but feel free to put together whenever easy
  • play straight through twice a week at the most – the rest should be focus days

Arabesque p. 4 Etudes

  • m. 16-17 pay attention to both thumbs landing
  • think using “fluttery” fingers on the 16ths

Clementi Sonatina Op 36 No 1 mvt 1

  • Try using the 3 staccatos to help with any places of tension or where mistakes happen
  • pay attention to having arm behind the playing fingers, especially the weak part of the hand
