Technique/Scales
Gb major scale and arpeggios – hands separately then together
Ploger: 6-Part Lap Map p. 68 improv
- try going back to do 4-part or 5-parts to see how those go
6-part Longy Rhythm – do this without Lap Map, tapping on beat 1 only and whispering on dots. Use your good coach to remind yourself to go through the tough section first, then do entire right side, then start from beginning. When you can do this without a mistake, then you can add Lap Map
- Try to keep going if you make a mistake – identify the cause of error, and apply the correct cure in time
Theory/Sightreading
- Theory – RCM Book 7 – continue at your own pace
- Sight Reading – do p. 153 Tracking, 1. Seconds. Work only one half at a time, feel free to start in the middle if you begin to memorize the pattern. Do this saying solfège out loud while you track with your finger on keyboard or imaginary keyboard in the air, visualizing the keys. Each day do a different clef/mode
Repertoire

- Stat on page 3 and work that until it’s as easy as the first page. Go very slowly and only speed up as things get easier. If it’s not getting easier, then go slower
Clementi Sonatina Op 36 No 3 Clementi Sonatina in C op 36 no 3
- Go very slowly putting hands together
- focus work on m. 10, 42, etc – get rid of staccato and play longer on the notes instead of repeating, try to make legato
I Giorni – Einaudi
