  • Practice starting from the stars
  • Practice leap at the end in 2 ways: 1. Going back and forth really fast, get vertical height 2. Jump up and hover over the keys, hesitate until you’re sure you’re over the right notes, then play. You can do these hands separately then together

Repertoire

Learn Minuet in G p. 6

  • write in counting – make sure the beats line up with the notes
  • learn hands separately with counting out loud
  • don’t play the ornaments (the squiggly lines above some of the notes)

Gentle Breezes

  • Work on B section extra with counting out loud – watch out for LH crossing over and changing patterns
  • Add pedal to the A section
