Performance
We’re going to focus on competition music for now. If you have time once you return you can do pieces from the books
Beethoven Ecossaise:
- Put hands together for first half, and learn 2nd half hands separately
- go slowly to make sure you are playing the correct notes and rhythms

In the Spirit:
- since the 8th notes are swung, listen to recording to help you hear rhythm (he plays the whole piece about halfway through the video: https://youtu.be/k_2dq72zk7k
- Follow the written fingerings and not what he does in the video
- learn hands together up through m.8, but do hands separate m. 9-16, especially working on memorizing LH notes here
